National Book Tour Heads to OK, NM, CA

The national book tour for March of the Suffragettes marches into its final three weeks as Zachary Michael Jack heads to Oklahoma and New Mexico, and California. Join Zachary for his first after-Thanksgiving book-signing at Best of Books in greater Oklahoma City and again in Las Cruces, New Mexico, on December 1 at Coas Books. Friday, December 9th Zachary will be visiting the seventh and eight grades classes at the Kirby Preparatory School in Santa Cruz, California. ZMJ Joins USA Today bestseller Ann Garvin on Nonfiction Panel

The topic for the panel discussion is “Creative Nonfiction: The Complication and Compensation of Writing Nonfiction So It Reads Like Fiction.”

New YA Book Hits Shelves Today; ZMJ visits area high schools

Publication day and a shelf’s worth of March of the Suffragettes: Rosalie Gardiner Jones and the March for Voting Rights ready for readers at the local indie bookstore. To mark the launch of the book, Zachary joined high school history and English classes at Lyons Township High School in LaGrange, Illinois, this past week at the invitation of LT teachers and librarians.

Week of pre-launch events for new YA book begins week of 9/19

andersons-bookshop-logoZachary Michael Jack’s latest book, March of the Suffragettes: Rosalie Gardiner Jones and the March to Voting Rights, will be pre-launched this week in a series of public events, beginning with a writers-in-the-schools visit on Friday, September 23, and an in-store book-signing at Anderson’s Bookshop in Naperville, Illinois on Saturday, September 24 at 2 p.m. Books will be available for purchase and signing in advance of the book’s official September 27th release date. March of the Suffragettes has been included in the Best YA Books of 2016 catalogue by the American Bookseller’s Association.

New nonfiction by Zachary Michael Jack chosen as a best YA book of 2016

aba-logotypeThe American Booksellers Association included Zachary Michael Jack’s latest release March of the Suffragettes: Rosalie Gardiner Jones and the March for Voting Rights in its Best YA Books of 2016 catalog. Jack’s new nonfiction for teens, distributed nationally by Houghton-Mifflin Harcourt and Zest Books, is due for release September 27, 2016 and is available for preorder now.
